- Get 1/2 cup rice
- Get 3 big gooseberry grated
- Take 1-2 green chilli
- Get 1/4 cup grated coconut

- Take 1 tablespoon urad dal
- Make ready 1 tablespoon chana dal

Instructions to make Amla Rice:
- Cook the rice and keep it aside. Take 4 tbsp of oil in a large frying pan and heat it under medium flame. At first add in ground nuts and fry until they start crackling. When the groundnuts crackles, add in mustard seeds, gram dal and urad dal. Fry until mustard seed splutters.
- Add in slit green chilli and curry leaves. Add in grated coconut, grated gooseberry, turmeric and mix well. Switch off the stove
- Add in the cooked rice, salt and finely chopped coriander leaves. Mix well. Amla rice is ready to eat
