  11. Take 1 tbsp canola oil
  12. Take 1/2 tsp musturd seeds
  13. Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  14. Make ready 1 each garlic pod crushed

Rasam is a spicy tangy soup made with tamarind and spices. This pineapple rasam is a lovely variety of rasam. having complex flavors, its spicy, tangy, and faintly sweet. Instructions to make Pineapple rasam:
  1. Heat a vessel, add 3cups of water, mashed dal,chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, green chillies, few curry leaves, rasam powder and bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes.
  2. Add pineapple puree and pineapple chunks.boil for 2 min.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds , crushed garlic, curry leaves anf fry for few seconds.
  4. Add this mixture to the boiled rasam and combine. Turn off the heat and place lid. Garnish with corriander leaves.
