- Take 1/2 Tsp Mustard seeds -

Steps to make Tomato Rice:
- Cut the onion, tomato,green chilli and keep them ready.
- In a pressure cooker add oil, when hot add the spices,curry leaves, onions. Add ginger garlic paste and saute well.
- Once the raw smells goes away add tomatoes and then the masala powders, mix well until the oil comes out of the - mixture.
- Now add water, when it starts boiling add the soaked (15 mins) and washed rice. Check for salt at this stage. Cover the pressure cooker and give 1 whistle.
- (Add some mint and coriander leaves if you want some really good flavor)
- Your simple and tastly tomato rice is ready now to enjoy with any pickle or curd. Anything of your choice.(We had it with egg)
