- Wait for them to cool down and then put in a container for storage
Drizzle bread cubes with enough olive oil to soak, toast to coat, and sprinkle with salt and za'atar. Za'atar (Arabic: زَعْتَر, IPA: [ˈzaʕtar]) is a culinary herb or family of herbs. It is also the name of a spice mixture that includes the herb along with toasted sesame seeds, dried sumac, often salt. Serve the soup with a healthy drizzle of the tahini sauce, chickpea croutons, parsley and plenty of salt and pepper to. Croutons that are homemade with fresh bread are a thousand times better than storebought, and they're so easy to prepare.
